Former Uttar Pradesh minister Amir Alam Khan and his son Nawazish Alam, a former MLA, have resigned from the BSP citing "personal reasons".
In a press conference here yesterday, Amir Alam and his son announced that they have resigned from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) due to "personal reasons".
However, they said that they "do not have any plan" to join another party.
