2 held after robbing man posing as cops

Two persons allegedly robbed a man of his gold chain posing as police personnel here but their luck ran out quickly as they landed in police custody.
Police said Praveen Raja (19) and Ramji (20) had intercepted Ramakrishnan, riding a two-wheeler, last night posing as police personnel and later snatched his six-sovereign gold chain.
The victim who spotted a Police patrol soon after the incident informed them about the robbery following which the nearby checkpost was alerted and the duo arrested.
The two were produced before a court here which remanded them to judicial custody today.
