On the basis of a tip off, two persons identified as Hariprosad Majumder and Milan Ghosh were arrested while carrying cannabis in a vehicle.
"They were intercepted near Taratala Road. A total 313.108 kg of ganja were kept in 38 packets having a market value of more than Rs 35 lakh were seized from the vehicle. Both of them were arrested," a police officer said.
