2 injured in bomb blast

Two persons were injured seriously when a bomb exploded near here, police said today.
The injured, engaged in construction work of a bridge at Sawombug village in Imphal East district were seriously injured when the bomb exploded, police said today.
The injured masons identified as Jabikal Islam (25) and Jahrudin (30), both hailing from Assam, were hospitalised.
The bomb was suspected to be an improvised explosive device (IED), the police said.

Chittorgarh Additional SP Gopal Singh said two of the
deceased have been identified as Manoj and Kishore, who were present near the factory when the blast occured.
The factory building, which manufactured explosives for mining, also got damaged in the blast which left two others injured, he said.
