2 judicial officials injured in false ceiling collapse

Two judicial officials, including a district judge, were injured when a portion of a false ceiling at the district and sessions judge's office fell over them here today.
The incident occurred during an official meeting.
District and Sessions Judge Kedar Lal Gupta suffered a fracture in his left hand while Chairman, Juvenile Justice Board, Ganesharam, was injured in the head.
They were rushed to Maharao Bheem Singh Hospital. Gupta was discharged after plastering in his hand while Ganesharam was undergoing treatment.
Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Kishan Lal Choudhary and Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Pramod Kumar Sharma were also present at the meeting.

Following the incident, Gupta ordered the Public Works Department to repair the ceiling.
