Bal Govind was killed after being hit by lightning in Sultanpur district, while 18-year-old girl Lalto died after her mud house collapsed in Barabanki district, police said.
Ayodhya received the most rainfall in the state at 13 cm followed by Kanpur 12 cm, Bani 11 cm, Harriya 7 cm, Kakardarighat, Bansi, Domariganj 6 cm each, Balrampur, Mohamadabad, Mohamadi, Neemsar and Purwa 5 cm each, the Met department said.
Rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over east Uttar Pradesh tomorrow, the department predicted.
