Seoni District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer and Additional Collector J Samir Lakra today suspended them.
According to official sources, the action was taken on the instructions of the Collector and the District Programme Coordinator Bharat Yadav against the panchayat staff for not providing work to labourers and not disbursing the amount during the financial year 2013-14.
Lakra said the secretaries from village panchayats of Dongargaon and Jamunia were suspended under the M.P. Panchayat Service Rules, 1999.
Lakra said the action was also taken against 24 other village panchayat secretaries and 10 assistant engineers, who have been issued show cause notices of negligence in the MGNREGA work.
