2 UP power corporation officials suspended for dereliction of duty

Two officials of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation have been suspended for alleged dereliction of duty in connection with a case of power theft by a school in Khatauli here, police said Thursday.

According to Inspector of vigilance team Jaspal Singh, during checking a school in Khatauli was found to be stealing power. A case was registered against the school manager.

SDO Manoj Kumar and Junior Engineer Niranjan Gupta were suspended Wednesday for negligence of duty in the case.
