2 women arrested for drug trafficking in Nepal

Police today arrested two women in western Nepal for drug trafficking and seized 32 kgs of hashish from them.
Bhim Kumari Khadka, 35, and her accomplice, Anita Khadka, 36, were arrested from Ghorahi in Dang district, 500 kms west of Kathmandu. They were arrested on a tip off, police said.
Police have seized 32 kgs of hashish from the two women who had hidden the contraband in their house.
Further investigation in the case is in progress.
In another incident the police have found 10 kgs of hemp kept unattended in Lalitpur district near Kathmandu.
