22 senior Punjab Police officers transferred

Twenty-two senior Punjab Police officers, including police commissioners of Ludhiana and Jalandhar, were transferred tonight.
Those transferred included Commissioners of Police Jalandhar and Ludhiana, IGPs, DIGs, SSPs and DCPs, an official spokesperson said.
Jalandhar Commissioner of Police, Ram Singh has been posted as IGP Traffic Punjab in Chandigarh while Ludhiana Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh Gill has been transferred as IGP/Zonal I Punjab in Patiala.
IPS officer Ishwar Singh is the new Jalandhar Commissioner of Police while IGP Bathinda Nirmal Singh Dhillon has been made Ludhiana Commissioner of Police.
SSP Bathinda Ravcharan Singh Brar has been posted as SSP Ropar in place of Indermohan Singh who has been transferred as SSP SAS Nagar.

Gurpreet Singh Bhullar SSP SAS Nagar has been shifted as SSP Bathinda, Bhupinder Singh PPS goes as SSP Mansa in place of Narinder Bhargava who has been made SSP Hoshiarpur.
Jaspreet Singh Sidhu PPS has been given the charge of SSP Jalandhar, Bikram Pal Singh Bhatty, IPS transferred as DCP Amritsar, Rahul S IPS as DCP Jalandhar, Gupreet Singh Gill IPS as SSP Amritsar(Rural) and Varinderpal Singh AIG/FIU, Intelligence Punjab, Chandigarh will be the new SSP Faridkot.
IPS Sharad Satya Chauhan who is IGP Traffic Punjab in Chandigarh, has been included in the panel sent for posting as IGP Investigation Lokpal.
