28 flats to be constructed for MLAs in Haryana

With a view to provide residential facility to Members of Legislative Assembly in Haryana, 28 flats would be constructed in Sector 3 here at the cost of Rs 25 crore.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kanwar Pal, today performed 'bhoomi poojan' to mark the beginning of the construction work.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Santosh Yadav, Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh and other MLAs also performed the 'hawan yajna'
The construction work on these 28 flats would be completed within 21 months, Pal said.
Of these, 16 flats would have three storeys and 12 would have two storeys.
After the construction of these flats, MLAs in the State would face no problems in finding accommodation in Chandigarh, he said.
