Himachal Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Vipin Parmar here on Wednesday told the state assembly that 3,283 people has been arrested in drug cases since December 2017.
Replying to questions of Congress MLAs Rajinder Rana and Ram Lal Thakur, Parmar said 3,147 men and 136 women were caught in 2,477 cases registered in the state from December 27, 2017, to October 31 this year.
Parmar said the state government was taking measures to spread awareness among the masses against drug addiction.
