Police have seized 73,800 tablets of methamphetamine near the Mizoram-Assam border and arrested three persons, all of them from neighbouring Manipur.

The three were held from Vairengte town yesterday, police said.

The drugs, also known as 'party drug' or 'crystal meth' is worth around Rs 184.50 lakh in the local market.

The drugs were likely smuggled from Myanmar via Moreh in Manipur to be sold in Assam, police said.
