Police said the three had links with one Babu Joseph of Kerala, who was the main culprit in ivory racket.
A team of forest officials from Vallam led by Ranger Ajis arrested the three at athankaraipatti near Andipatti where they were hiding.
They were later produced before a Magistrate and taken to Kerala for further interrogation.
The trio had allegedly helped to smuggle and sell ivory, officials said.
