3 killed, 2 injured in car-truck collision in Ambala

Three people were killed and two others seriously injured when their car suffered a head-on collision with a truck today on the Ambala-Jagadhri Highway here, police said.
The car was headed for Yamunanagar from Chandigarh, they said. It collided with the truck engaged in the ongoing road construction work near Khan Ahmadpur village, they added.
The truck driver fled from the spot, police said, adding a case under relevant provisions of the law was registered.
The injured were admitted to the MM Medical College, Mullana, the officials said.
