3 killed, 20 injured as bus rams into a tree

Three passengers, including a woman, were killed and 20 others injured when their bus rammed into a tree near Tasgaon here today.
The mishap occurred at around 10.30 AM when the Maharashtra state transport bus, going from Kavathemahankal town in Sangli to Pune, hit a tree near Tasgaon, police said.
While three passengers died on the spot, 20 others, including the bus driver, sustained injuries in the mishap.
The deceased have been identified as - Fulabai Anandrao Bhosale (65), Anandrao Sakharam Bhosale (77) and Shivaji Ganesh Khot (72).
The injured have been admitted to Sangli civil hospital.
