3 killed as speeding car hits motorcycle in Unnao

Three persons were killed when a speeding car hit their motorcycle in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao, the police said on Wednesday.

Jai Singh (20), Vishwanath (24) and Chotu (22) were killed on the spot when the car hit their motorcycle from behind on Tuesday night, Superintendent of Police (SP) Unnao Harish Kumar said on Wednesday.

The bodies of the deceased were sent for a post-mortem examination, he added.

The accident occurred in the Ajgainpolice station area and the driver of the car fled the scene leaving his sports utility vehicle (SUV) behind, Kumar said.
