Heavy rain coupled with storms wreaked havoc in northwest Pakistan killing three people and injuring a similar number.
Official sources said a family was sleeping when the roof of their house situated in Baghdada Faqir area collapsed on Monday night, killing a woman and her three children and injuring her minor daughter.
In another incident, a two-year old boy was killed and his sister injured when the roof of their house collapsed. A woman was also wounded in roof collapse incident in Takht Bai Tehsil near Mardan.
Heavy rains with strong winds uprooted trees, signboards and hoardings in different parts of Mardan. The rain also caused power breakdown in the city.
