Three people belonging to the Kuki gang were arrested following a brief encounter with the Haryana Police in Jind district today, an official said.
The police have seized three pistols and eight live cartridges from their possession, he said.
All the three accused were allegedly involved in various cases of murder, attempt to murder and robbery, he said.
At least, 18 cases were registered against them in the states of Rajasthan and Punjab as well as in Panchkula, Panipat and Rohtak, the official said.
They were identified as Rakesh, a resident of Panipat, Gagandeep, a native of Zirakpur in Mohali district, and Sunil, a resident of Rohtak.
