3-month-old child dies en route to Vaishno Devi shrine in JK

A three-month-old child today died en route to the Vaishno Devi cave shrine in the Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, the police said.
The child, Dev Verma, son of Rahul Verma from Uttar Pradesh, fell unconscious near Ardhkwari, on the way to the cave shrine, a police officer said.
The child was accompanied by his parents. He was rushed to the Ardhkwari dispensary, where the doctors declared him brought dead, the officer added.
According to the parents of the child, he was suffering from a heart ailment.
The body of the child was handed over to his parents, the officer said.
