One of the girls died on the spot while two others succumbed to their burn injuries in hospital.
Their mother, identified as Afruza Khatun, and another sibling suffered 80 per cent burn injuries and were under treatment, officials said.
The girls were in the age group of 6 and 12 years.
Neighbours of the family that lived in Fatasil Ambari area of the city took out the victims by breaking open the doors.
Ali was in the toilet when the fire broke out and he managed to escape by breaking a tin wall of the toilet, officials said.
Short circuit was suspected to be cause of the fire.
