3-storey building gutted in fire in HP
Policesuspect the fire was caused by burning a lamp inside the timbered building, with 20-rooms, belonging to two brothers Virender Chauhan and Narinder Chauhan, SP D W Negi said.
The cause of the fire could not been ascertained.
The neighbourers rescued the families trapped in the house and there was no loss of life but the belongings of the inmates could not be salvaged, he said.
The fire brigade could not reach the house as the road was blocked due to heavy snow, Negi said.
