352 police wards sanctioned scholarships in J&K
The scholarships, sanctioned out of Central Police Fund, have been ordered for the wards of martyrs including meritorious children of serving personnel for the academic year 2011-12.
Announcing the scholarships, Prasad stressed upon the wards to get modern education and perform well in different competitions.
He said free education is provided to the wards of deceased personnel with hostel facilities, in order to help them excel at different levels.
