36 national school records created in CBSE Swimming C'ship

As many as 36 national school records were created in different categories at the four-day CBSE National Swimming Championship which concluded here today.
More than 870 school swimmers from different states of India and countries like Dubai, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Iran, Kuwait took part in 110 different events at the Vadodara Municipal Corporation Indoor Stadium Swimming Pool.
"This only shows the kind of enthusiasm and improving standards of swimming in the country. We have never registered such a large number of records," Swimming Federation of India vice-president Rajkumar said.
Gujarat finance minister Saurabh Patel distributed prizes to the winners. Urmi School of BRG Group organised the championships.
