shot dead allegedly by three motorcycle-borne youths in Sujanrai village in Maharajganj area here, police said.
"Shivshankar Saroj was shot by three bike-borne youths when he was going to the market on his cycle," Additional Superintendent of Police, OP Pandey said.
He died on the spot after sustaining bullet injuries on his head, he said.
Angry locals protested against the incident by creating a traffic jam and demanded immediate arrest of those involved in the murder, police said.
An FIR has been registered in this regard, they said adding a manhunt has been launched to nab the assailants.
