The incident took place when Arvind (32), his mother Raj Kumari (65), wife Poonam (30) and son Anshu (2) were on their way to a hospital following which a Roadways bus collided with a jeep and dashed into their motorcycle near Naushera in Civil Lines area. All four of them died on the spot, District Magistrate Shambhu Nath said.
As many as 13 others in the jeep were also injured in the accident and had to be rushed to hospital, the DM said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
