8 Additional judges of Delhi HC elevated as Permanent Judges

Eight Additional Judges of the Delhi High Court have been elevated as Permanent Judges.
Justice Jayant Nath, Justice Najmussahar Waziri, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Justice Vibhu Bakhru, Justice Valluri Kameswar Rao, Justice Sunita Gupta, Justice Deepa Sharma and Justice Ved Prakash Vaish, who are Additional Judges of the Delhi High Court, have been made Judges in the same high court from the date they assume charge of their respective offices, a Law Ministry statement said.
The sanctioned strength of judges of the High Court of Delhi is 29 permanent Judges and 19 Additional Judges, and now there is a shortage of four judges.
