8 missing as boat drowns in the Ghagra river

Eight persons went missing when a boat capsized today in the Ghaghra river in Baundi area of the district.
The incident occurred this evening when a boat carrying around 11 people capsized in the middle of the river near Naubasta Ghoordevi village, police said.
While three persons swam to the bank of the river, eight were reportedly missing and efforts were being made to trace them, they said.
