8 paperclips removed from Chinese man's stomach

Chinese doctors have successfully removed eight straightened paperclips - measuring eight centimetres each - from a man's stomach after he swallowed them during a drunk argument with his wife.
The 26-year-old man in Guangzhou, Guangdong province paid a visit to the Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University after he began experiencing pain, fever and bloody diarrhoea.
The young man told doctors he straightened and downed more than 10 clips after an alcohol-fuelled quarrel with his wife a few months ago.
The nickel-plated steel strips measured around 8 centimetres each, reported 'Nanfang Daily'.
The man had passed some of the clips two days later, according to ecns.Cn.

However, he sought medical help when after two months he developed sharp abdominal pain that left him unable to walk straight.
