About 90 per cent of the complaints registered under the Haryana government's 'CM Window' initiative from April, 2015 to December, 2016 have been disposed of, state Minister Anil Vij said today.
He said around 200 officers and other employees of different state departments have been suspended for dereliction of duty.
"About 90 per cent of the total 2,57,953 complaints registered on 'CM Window', a web portal for redressal of public grievances, from April, 2015 to December, 2016 have so far been disposed of," the state Health Minister informed the state Assembly here.
Vij, who was replying to a question on the third day of Budget session of the Assembly, said only 27,161 such complaints were pending.
He said the expansion of 'CM Window' initiative on sub-divisional level began on December 25, 2016. Before this, the facility was operated at district headquarters.
CM Window is presently being operated in 68 out of a total of 71 sub-divisions and it would soon be started in remaining sub-divisions namely Faridabad, Gurugram and Dadri, the minister said.
As the facility is yielding good results, it would be continued, he said.
Earlier, Leader of Opposition Abhay Singh Chautala alleged that a large number of complaints were being received against the police department.
He said a number of complaints of various nature were still pending from his home district Sirsa.
Replying to another question, Vij said the purchase of electronic equipment and sports kits for Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai was carried out in accordance with the prescribed norms.
