Government today admitted that a few files related to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose could not be traced despite all efforts to locate them.
Minister of State for Home Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said in Lok Sabha that all available classified files at the Ministry of Home Affairs relating to Netaji have been declassified and transferred to National Archives of India for permanent retention.
"While there is no instance of tampering with the files, there are a few files which could not be traced despite all efforts to locate the same," he said replying to a written question.
