Recently, when Khan, 50, saw the trailer of Imran-Kangana Ranaut starrer film he could not stop praising the actor.
"Hey guys, Imran is back! Can not wait to see your film Imran. Good luck!" he wrote.
Imran, 32, made his debut with Aamir Khan Productions' "Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na" which was well received at the box-office.
After a series of unsuccessful outings, the actor once again tasted success with "Delhi Belly" backed by his uncle's banner.
Directed by Nikhil Advani, "Katti Batti" is considered to be Imran's comeback after the debacle of 2013 film "Gori Tere Pyaar Main".
Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, "Katti Batti" is slated to release on September 18.
