Lt Governor Najeeb Jung today made it clear that none of the decisions and initiatives, including the 50% subsidy on power tariff, taken by the AAP-led government will be scrapped, at least till March 31.

Lt Governor, who is now administering Delhi after President's rule was imposed, held a meeting of all heads of departments of Delhi Government along with the Commissioners of Delhi Municipal Corporation and New Delhi Municipal Council.

During the meeting, the decisions taken by the AAP led government in the 49 days of its power were discussed and it was decided that all initiatives launched by it will continue.

"The initiatives like the 1031 anti-corruption helpline number, Public grievance system, 50% subsidy on power tariff and providing 667 litres of free water daily for domestic consumption to each household having metered connection in Delhi will continue," said Sanjiv Kumar, Director of Directorate of Information & Publicity (DIP).

Kumar, however, added that subsidies given on power and water will continue till March 31

He also informed that vote on account for Delhi will be passed in this Parliamentary session.

However, there are few changes that will take place in the coming days.

Arvind Kejriwal's voice which used to greet the citizens calling on the 1031 anti-corruption helpline number will now be removed.

Moreover, instead of AAP volunteers, Delhi government employees will operate the helpline number.

According to sources, there is no data of how many calls were received on the helpline since its inception.

After the one-and-half hour long meeting, Lt governor also reviewed the power situation and held a meeting with the Department's senior officials.

According to Secretariat sources, LG may keep Tuesday to hold meeting with the officials henceforth.

Earlier, files related to policy decisions used to be forwarded to the Lt governor, but now he will supervise the functioning of the government.

President's rule was imposed after Arvind Kejriwal resigned as Chief Minister on February 14 following the AAP Government's failure to introduce the Jan Lokpal Bill in the State assembly.
