AAP leadership adopting double standards: Har party leaders

In an open letter to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, party leaders from Haryana today accused the central leadership of adopting "double standards" in the name of discipline and asked them to clarify whether the state unit of party had been disbanded.
The letter, written by Haryana AAP secretary Paramjit Singh and chief spokesman Rajiv Godara, was also addressed to party's national secretary Pankaj Gupta.
In the letter, Singh and Godara asked whether there were double standards in the party regarding discipline and were there different set of rules for those who were close to Kejriwal and those who were not.

Citing a newspaper report which quoted AAP national executive member Navin Jaihind announcing dissolution of the party's Haryana unit, they asked Kerjiwal and Gupta to clarify whether the news was correct.
"If Navin Jaihind's statement about dissolution of state committee in Haryana was false and beyond facts, then does not it malign the party's image," the letter said.
Claiming that such statements made by Jaihind had harmed the party, the two leaders said it was becoming difficult to work for party organisation specially in Haryana.

Targetting Jaihind, the duo asked Kejriwal whether he was allowed to conduct "anti-party" activities in Haryana to weaken Yogendra Yadav who was recently expelled from AAP.

Both Singh and Godara had been at the forefront to condemn the expulsion of Yadav and Prashant Bhushan from the party and had challenged the central leadership to give evidences supporting the charges against them.
The two leaders said they decided to write an open letter as their letters and communications in the past were "not responded" by the party leadership.
Meanwhile, Swaraj Abhiyan, led by Yadav and Bhushan, have released details of their nationwide campaign.
"As part of Swaraj Abhiyan's initiative to connect with every corner of the country, dialogues (Swaraj Samvad) on alternative politics and ways to implement it will be held all over the country.

"In the next one month, 20 Swaraj Samvad programmes, attended by Prof Anand Kumar, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, will be held till May 31. The dates of 14 Swaraj were finalised and the remaining were being worked out.
"The first Swaraj Samvad will be held in Bengaluru on April 29 and will be followed by similar events at Guwahati (May 1), Islampur, North Bengal (May 2), Kolkata and Ludhiana (May 3)," Swaraj Abhiyan member Anupam Singh said.
