AAP nominee from Sangrur issued show cause notice

Election Commission has issued show cause notice to AAP nominee from Sangrur Lok Sabha seat Bhagwant Singh Mann for allegedly using columns of a vernacular daily for paid news.
The show cause notice was issued by District Electoral Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Kavita Singh. Mann has been asked to respond within 48 hours, an EC official said today.
Mann, comedian-turned-politician, is contesting against Congress MP Vijay Inder Singla and SAD's Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa from Sangrur seat.
