Addressing a gathering here, the Delhi Chief Minister said despite the Congress and the BJP ruling for several years, garbage dump, which has come up in the middle of city, has not been removed from the site.
"There is a landfill site (Bhalswa) which has become like a mountain of garbage in the middle of the city. Congress had ruled for several years and now BJP is ruling municipal corporations.
He hoped that when the Aam Aadmi Party comes to power in the MCDs next year, they will remove heaps of garbage from here and develop the site into a playground for children.
"We are doing those works in one and half years which both Congress and BJP had not done in last 50 years," he claimed.
In the bypoll to 13 wards of the three civic bodies, the AAP has made debut by winning five seats earlier this week.
