Abducted minor girl recovered, two held

The minor girl, a resident of Daata village, was kidnapped by one Aman Kumar on December 22 and he kept her at his aunt Parveen Devi's residence, Senior Superintendent of Police, Surjit Singh Grewal said.

Railway Colony resident, Kumar made a ransom call to the girl's father, he said.

On the complaint made by the minor's father, the matter was probed, the police official said.

After probing the details of the ransom call, police team arrested Kumar and Praveen and rescued the minor, he said.
