The film, based on human trafficking, also saw actress Divya Chhetri picking up the best actress award, announced on the last day of the second edition of the festival.
The closing ceremony was held at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra here this evening.
The finale began with locals performing a folk dance dressed in their traditional attire.
A tribute was paid to noted film personalities like actor Pran and filmmakers Yash Chopra and Rituparno Ghosh with small clippings screened on their contribution to cinema.
Jammu and Kashmir urban development minister Rigzin Jora, who was present at the event, said, "We are grateful that some great filmmakers from across the world came down here to attend the festival.
"I do feel that there were a few hiccups this year, but I think we should work together and ensure things are better next year," he added.
