ACB seizes over Rs 2 lakh in cash from police station

Over Rs 2 lakh in cash was seized from a police station here by sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, officials said today.
Acting on a tip-off, Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths conducted a raid at Vidutt Police station late last evening and seized over Rs two lakh in cash, Traun Kant Somani, Deputy Superintendent of Police of ACB said.
Since officials at the police station could not give a satisfactory reply about the source of the money, an investigation has been initiated, the officer said.
