"We warn the BJP that the people of Jammu region would take to extreme means after July 20 to get their demands fulfilled," ACC president, Abhinav Sharma, said.
AIIMS coordination committee is the amalgam of more than 70 social, religious, political and business organisations that is spearheading the agitation for setting up of the proposed AIIMS in Jammu.
Sharma has asked the BJP to implement its written assurance by the deadline of July 20 or be ready to face the consequences.
"BJP made promises to the people of Jammu for which they got so many votes, but the party has disappointed the people by throwing into dustbin those promises," he said.
He accused the BJP of surrendering itself to its coalition partner PDP for the sake of power.
