"The report would be tabled during this session," Ajit said in the Assembly replying to BJP MLA Devendra Fadnavis who alleged that the government was dilly dallying on the issue.
The opposition BJP, Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have been demanding that the government table the inquiry report in the legislature, along with the Action Taken Report (ATR).
Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan recently said the government had received the report and would table it at an "appropriate time".
The 700-page report was submitted in a sealed cover to the state government on April 19 by N N Kumbhar, Secretary of the commission.
The interim report of the panel had said the land on which the 31-storeyed highrise in Colaba was located belonged to Maharashtra government and not of the defence ministry as claimed earlier.
