During the meeting with Ram Sharan Mahat, the Executive Directors of the ADB also commended the progress made towards political stability.
"They also discussed the ways to achieve and sustain higher economic growth and job creation with effective use of external assistance, and to achieve the longer term goal of poverty reduction," ADB Nepal Mission said in a statement.
A delegation from the ADB Board of Directors, including Executives Directors Mario Sander and Maliami Bin Hamad, is currently on a six-day official visit to Nepal.
The ADB Board delegation also met Vice Chairperson and members of the National Planning Commission and other senior government officials.
The delegation will visit various ADB-assisted projects in Kathmandu, Melamchi and Lumbini.
