Aditi to take on Gurbani, Millie

The tournament to be played at Golmuri Golf Club here will see Millie Saroha, winner of the Usha Northern India title earlier this month, Gurbani Singh, winner of the Usha Southern India title earlier in the season, Raksha Phadke, Gursimar Badwal and Ankita Kedalya as the other strong contenders.

Aditi, 14, is just back from the Team World championships in Turkey where India finished 34th, and is expected to be in good form.

While she leads the rankings in both Ladies and Junior girls, she is yet to win one of the Regional Majors on the Usha IGU Amateur circuit.

In the younger categories, C and D, Arushi Pandey, Tanishka Kumar, Vasundhara Tihara will be the ones to watch out for.

Usha has been associated with ladies golf for over 25 years, and today is the nationwide sponsor of the entire Indian Golf Union (IGU) Ladies Tour. With golf being included in the 2016 Olympics for the first time, Usha's aim is to assist in bringing home a medal.
