Advani cues a double in PSPB event

Having already pocketed the individual billiards crown for ONGC, ace cueist Pankaj Advani today completed a double after clinching the snooker title as well in the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board's inter-unit championship which concluded here.
Advani held his nerves against IOCL cueist Ishpreet Chaddha to win the sea-saw battle 3-2.
Advani, who battled past Ketan Chawla (GAIL) in the quarter-finals and Manan Chandra (IOCL) in the semis, once again proves his might on the green baize.
After a first, second and third placing in the billiards event yesterday, ONGC once again dominated the standings with Advani standing atop and Rupesh Shah winning the third-place play-off against Chandra.
