Johar, who is returning to the director's chair after after a gap of four years with the film, wrapped up the London schedule of the love story.
"And it's a wrap on our London schedule! #AeDilHaiMushkil all set to release on the 28th of October 2016!! DIWALI!," he posted on Twitter along with a photo of him and his male lead Ranbir.
This now gives way to a box-office clash between "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" and actor-director Ajay Devgn's much-ambitious venture "Shivaay".
