Kanchan Joshi, Randhir Pundir, Darshan Bhandari and Kosturba Nand Pandey, who climbed up the BSNL mobile tower near the Vidhan Bhawan here on November 2 to mount pressure on the state government to concede their demands including regularisation, refused to come down even on the third day of their stir, Additional District Magistrate Harak Singh Rawat said.
They have not taken edibles, drinking water and blankets with them and one of them is said to have fallen sick, he said.
"Their complaints can be redressed only after Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna returns from Delhi tomorrow but we are trying all we can to dissuade them and bring them down," the official said and also indicated that if they refuse to give in, stern steps can be taken to force them to get down the tower.
