The flight between state capital Bhubaneswar and steel city of Rourkela will provide air connectivity to various industrial hubs in Odisha.
From tomorrow full fledged commercial flights will begin linking Bhubaneswar and Rourkela with a stop at Jarsuguda, sources said.
The Odisha-based airline plans to extend its service to other important places in the state as well as to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.
"We will give our best to make this venture a success," promoter of Air Odisha S Pani said.
Rourkela Chamber of Commerce and Industries played a pivotal role in introduction of the air link, the official said.
