The Centre was aiming to amend various labour laws which would dilute the rights of trade unions and workers. It also wanted to "grab" agriculture lands from farmers so that big corporates can start industries, CPI Central Committee member D Pandian alleged today.
It is an attempt to dilute the hard earned labour rights to favour big corporate houses, Pandian said.
He further said, at the national-level conference of AITUC to be held here in December in which an action plan will be evolved to take on the government's move.
The conference will chalk out a strategy to counter the Government's proposed amendment to various laws, which would adversely affect the livelihood and future of lakhs of employees in the country, Pandian said.
