In the first case the officials intercepted one Faisal Paliwala, who had arrived from Bangkok, and his search resulted in recovery of four gold bars weighing 400 grams valued at Rs 11.80 lakh, said an official.
He had concealed it in specially made pockets in the inner side of the waistband of the trouser worn by him, said the official.
In the second case one Kandathil Rafi who had arrived from Dubai was intercepted and his search resulted in recovery of copper colour coated gold wires weighing 587 grams valued at Rs 17.32 lakh, he said.
While in the third case the officials intercepted one Altaf Shabbir who had arrived from Dubai and his search led to recovery of 200 grams of gold chain worth Rs 7 lakh, he said.
Shabbir had concealed the gold chains in four tubes of toothpaste, the official added.
