AJKPC chairman Shafiq Mir expressed shock over the latest incident in which a deputy Sarpanch of Kupwara district, Noor Mohammad, was shot by an unidentified gunman.
"For the last one year we have been asking for security of Panches and Sarpanches, but our genuine demands have been neglected," Mir alleged.
